The primary focus of Thompson Hutton LLC (THLLC) is the portfolio of Venture Capital investments of XL Innovate.  Following the acquisition of XL Catlin by AXA Group Plc, THLLC assumed responsibility for the ongoing operations of the XL Innovate fund through an investment management agreement.

In addition to XL Innovate, the firm is affiliated with Brewer Lane Ventures (InsurTech and FinTech early stage Venture Capital), Genstar Capital (middle market Private Equity), and Stone Point Capital (financial services Private Equity), where Tom Hutton serves as Senior Advisor/Advisory Director in each case.

Tom Hutton is Chairman of the Board of SoFi, a leading company in the FinTech sector, and is a Director and Investor at a small number of other private companies.
